She regularly continues her education and is certified in chemical peels and full body speed waxing.

After beauty school Jenna decided to get started right away. Knowing some of the other stylists at Mishay already, she decided to start there. Working at the front desk helped to give her a perspective of the salon at work and she knew she was in the right place. Starting by assisting Andrea, she worked her way to her own station and is now enjoying the benefits of a full clientele that she thoroughly enjoys.
Working in the beauty industry is a lifestyle for Mia. She not only does skin care, but massage as well. Coming from Sweden, she has lived up to and beyond the notion of what beauty is in her home country. Mia has taken numerous courses on various skin treatments, including peels and techniques you won't find anywhere else. She likes to treat the whole individual. Between her amazing massage and skin care treatments, Mia knows how to make a client feel like a new person.
Thi Huynh Harmond began her career studying hair styles and make-up techniques at a renowned salon in Vietnam, where she susequently developed her own styles through practice at her own salon for several years before coming to the United States. With a strong passion to expand and enhance her make-up skill set, she perfected her techniques with further training at Joe Blasco's make-up school in Hollywood. Thi loves creativity in her work, combining the traditional styles with a modern look, and the conservative Asian forms with the relaxed American trends. As a result, Thi not only offers her clients with exactly what they need, but also helps them to define their beauty values. Her clients love the pampering attention each time they come to Thi, and many have become long time friends.
Denise received her beauty license at Marinello Beauty School and has been doing nails since. Having 24 years of experience, Denise offers a variety of treatments and services that take the art of nails to another level. Denise finds that the interaction with clients and offering a service that includes making clients feel more beautiful are the best benefits of her job. Denise has been in Santa Barbara for over thirty years and has a loving and supportive family that she relishes.
Doing nails is a passion for Stacy. She finds that the art of nails not only brings beauty to the client, but also can enhance your wardrobe. Stacy’s family is one of her biggest points of pride and having a job that allows for her to still have time with them is close to perfect. Stacy loves the fact that she doesn't just have clients, but friends. Bringing beauty to others through nail service is just a part of the exquisite aspects of her work.
Growing up with a Grandmother and Mother that were in the beauty industry, Angel knew from an early age that this was what she loved too. Trying it out first by assisting after high school, she knew this career choice was right. She went to both Golden West Cosmetology School and SBCC Cosmetology to finish her instruction. She has had a passion for hair and make-up her whole life, and the pursuit of this career has led her to her creative outlet. Working with color and various hair textures, Angel brings beauty to all of her clients. Angel enjoys her clients and hopes they will always walk out feeling better about themselves.
A Santa Barbara native, Andrea has worked in the beauty industry for over fifteen years. She started assisting at the age of 15 and from then on it was impossible to get her out of the salon. Her passion for hair has taken her all over the world, including London and Prague for advanced training in color and cutting. She is in demand as a stylist and her work can be found in numerous local, national and worldwide publications. Andrea worked in various salons in Santa Barbara before eventually becoming owner of Mishay Salon & Spa. Not one to sit still for long, Andrea then created and launched the kids product line Glop & Glam. She is the mother of two beautiful boys and is continuously inspired by the love of her family.
From the time Brooke was a little girl she knew that the beauty industry was a dream that she wanted to chase. After graduating from beauty college, Brooke did her apprentinceship under a master stylist within Aveda. In her continued pursuit for higher education, Brooke attended advanced courses at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica. After being in the industry for a number of years, an amazing opportunity presented itself when her friend, Andrea Ridgell, decided to open Mishay Salon & Spa. After being part of industry leaders such as Aveda, Vidal Sassoon and Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, Brooke jumped at the chance to help build something special with her friends in Santa Barbara. Brooke loves interacting with her clients to help them acheive their special look, make them feel good about themselves and most importantly having fun doing it!
After attending school at the University of San Francisco for two years on a soccer scholarship, Kelly decided it was time to follow her life-long passion and become a hair stylist. She moved to Santa Barbara in 2000 and trained as an apprentice with an Aveda Master Stylist for a year and a half. Kelly went on to become a trainer/educator for the Aveda apprenticeship program, also working briefly with Aveda Corporate as a color specialist and traveling to local salons teaching color theory. While working with Aveda she learned from professionals from all over the world, including Germany, London, New York and Los Angeles. In 2007, Kelly joined the Mishay Salon team and has easily become part of the "family". The one thing Kelly loves about being a hair stylist is the "make-over" experience from the color, to the cut, to the finished style, and helping to improve one's confidence and make them feel sexy!
Graduating from beauty school, Tracie decided to head home to Santa Barbara. She knew Andrea through a family friend and had been going to her for her own hair. After assisting Andrea and a number of other stylists, Tracie started her own clientele just after six months. When Andrea decided to open her own salon, Tracie was amongst the first to sign up. Five years later, Tracie enjoys working with the other women, and doing what she loves.
